Tim Modise

Tim has been a well-known broadcasting personality for more than 27 years now. He was a political analyst for Credit Suisse First Boston until 2002 and chaired the Proudly South African campaign until 2005. He received the Best Broadcaster Radio award in 1991 and the Rotary award for Community Service in 1999. In 2001, Tim won the Reconciliation award, the TV and Radio Presenter award, the President's award and the Communicator of the Year award. Subsequent to that, he also received the Paul Harris award (2002), the "Best Man" award (2004) and the Old Mutual leadership award (2004). The prestigious Jaime Brunet award for the promotion of human rights, previously awarded to the Dalai Lama, was bestowed on Tim in 2003. He currently serves on the board of Sizwe as a Non-executive director where he holds a minority share.
